About the Program
QSAC offers After School Programs in Queens and the Bronx that seek to provide therapeutic and behavior-oriented teaching and clinical treatment programs for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder starting at age 8 and living in either Queens or the Bronx. Through various assessments and parental input, an individualized program is developed for each student. Programs are implemented using principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis, including discrete trials and natural environment teaching. Programs are implemented by the Group Leader and Habilitation Specialists. The After School Programs operate Monday through Friday, from 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm on public school days. Supervised transportation and a nutritious snack are provided to all students.
