As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, QSAC takes a moment to pay tribute to the women who founded our organization in 1978. We honor their legacy and the many women who continue to lead QSAC today. Their dedication and tireless work have had a profound impact on the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
The founders of QSAC set out to create an organization that would provide support and services to individuals with autism and their families. Today, QSAC has grown into a leading provider of services for individuals with autism in New York City and Long Island. The organization provides many services, including early intervention, after-school, education, residential, day habilitation, and many in-home and training programs.
QSAC is proud to stand with women on this International Women’s Day. We recognize the critical role that women play in the autism community. Women are more likely than men to be caregivers for individuals with autism, and women with autism often face unique challenges and barriers in accessing services and support.
QSAC is committed to creating a world that celebrates and supports women, especially those who are on the autism spectrum. We are committed to empowering women with autism and providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
On this International Women’s Day, QSAC celebrates the women who founded our organization and the many women who continue to lead us today. We honor their legacy and their contributions to the autism community. QSAC is proud to stand with women and to be a part of a world that celebrates and supports them. Happy International Women’s Day!
